Amanda started dancing at the early age of 3 at a small dance studio in Woodland Park, Colorado. At the age of 12 she made her way to Colorado Ballet Society where she trained for 6 years under Patricia Hoffman as well as many other amazing dance instructors. During her time at Ballet Society, Amanda danced many roles, including the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Winter Fairy in The Nutcracker, Tatiana in a Midsummer's Night Dream, and Swanilda in Coppelia. She also did some guest performances with San Diego Ballet’s Nutcracker as Clara, as well as Marzipan in Idaho Ballet’s Nutcracker. Amanda traveled with Colorado Ballet Society to Europe two times and was able to dance all over Europe. This included places such as: Prague, Czech Republic; Monte Carlo, France; London, United Kingdom; and Florence, Italy. She competed and placed in the top ten at Denver Ballet Guild for five years and won first place her final year competing. After her time with Colorado Ballet Society she moved to Denver to dance with Colorado Ballet, where she danced for one season before tearing the labrum in her hip and fracturing her pelvis resulting in hip surgery. Since her surgery Amanda has been going to school to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has continued dancing as often as possible.
