Ballet and Contemporary

Angela was born and raised in Colorado! She attended Ballet Society for 7 years training under Patty Hoffman, performing with all the Colorado Classical Youth Ballet productions and receiving awards from Denver Ballet Guild and Esther Geoffrey competitions. 

She also participated in summer courses with Kaatsbaan, National Ballet School of Canada, Ballet Magnificat, and Ballet Austin.

She joined the Royal Ballet School in London at 17-years-old and graduated two years later with Honors. Liam Scarlett and Alistair Marriott from Royal Ballet and Gary Norman from Australian Ballet all chose her to choreograph on and take the lead in their graduation pieces for the school.

She then joined English National Ballet and has been dancing there for almost ten years. She was chosen by William Forsythe and Liam Scarlett for leading roles in their ballets for the company, and she has performed in numerous other classical and contemporary ballets. Some of her other favourite pieces to perform were Pina Bausch’s Rite of Spring and John Neumeier’s Spring and Fall. She has toured with the company to Japan, Australia, Spain, Moscow, Hong Kong, China, Poland, and Ireland.
