Ballet & Character Dancer
Brittane Pfeffer grew up in Champlin, MN. She started dancing at a young age at Northland School of Dance and later began her ballet training at Minnesota Dance Theatre and School. After graduating from high school she moved to Salt Lake City to attend the University of Utah. At Utah, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet with an emphasis in performance and character dance. She was a member of the Ballet department’s two companies; Utah Ballet and Character Dance Ensemble. She performed in many productions including Giselle and Firebird. At Utah Brittane also received Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a minor in History. Brittane went on to dance professionally first with Ballet Nebraska in Omaha and then San Diego Ballet in California. Throughout her professional career, she had the opportunity to perform many different ballets such as A Midsummers Night Dream, The Carnival of Animals, and Alice in Wonderland. She also performed with Opera Omaha in the Magic Flute as well as went on tour to many cities with San Diego Ballet’s The Nutcracker. Since moving to Colorado Springs Brittane has become a registered yoga teacher.
