Interim Studio Manager
A native of the east coast, Kate has had a passion for the arts since a young age. She was accepted to the Shenandoah Valley Governor’s School for Theater Arts and Humanities, where she graduated with honors. She went on to attend Christopher Newport University, majoring in Theater with a concentration in Arts Administration and a minor in Leadership Studies. During her time at CNU, she found a passion for production and stage management, serving as assistant stage manager, stage manager, and production assistant on numerous productions. She was a recipient of the Spurgeon P. Toney IV Scholarship for two consecutive years, awarded to a student demonstrating academic excellence and dedication to the performing arts. In addition, she was an active member of Alpha Psi Omega, the national theater honors fraternity, and served as Public Relations Chair for two years. Following graduation, her career took her everywhere from museums to universities, but she is thrilled to be working in the arts again! She looks forward to many wonderful years working with CBS!
