Nichole was born and raised in Las Vegas where she began dancing at the age of three. Under the direction of Kathy Bunker, she trained in various styles as a member of Bunker Dance Center’s pre-professional company, Nevada Youth Dancer’s Company. During her training, she attended the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts high school as a dance major. There, she acted as a teaching/administrative assistant to the department chair, Jeneane Huggins. Upon graduation, she moved to England to study at the London Contemporary Dance School. Whilst overseas, she took part in various workshops throughout Europe with companies such as Danish Dance Theatre and Batsheva Dance company. During her time at LCDS, Nichole performed in pieces by Joe Moran, Samir Kennedy and Ohad Naharin (restaged by Chisato Ohno) whilst choreographing her own work. In 2019, her self-choreographed duet “Framed Discourse” toured across England for young audiences. During the last year of her studies, Nichole was awarded the Peggy Hawkins Scholarship under the mentorship of Anthony Van Laast. After the completion of her degree, she relocated to the Colorado Springs area to further her pilates and dance teaching training. Nichole is looking forward to being a part of the Colorado Ballet Society family.
