Rylee Scroggs
Contemporary, Jazz, Tap
Rylee Scroggs started dancing at the age of three. Out of the eighteen years of dancing, twelve of those years were as a competitive dancer. During her high school career, she attended Arts Immersion and Springs Studios for Academic Excellence to focus solely on dancing as her education. In addition to this, every year, she would attend a performing arts camp(s) in Colorado, Nebraska, and California with the Young Americans to further her training. In 2019, Rylee graduated from Springs Studios for Academic Excellence and her competition studio of eight years, Dance Unlimited. During this time, she trained in styles such as tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, acro, musical theater, hip hop, heels, modern, lyrical, contemporary, and composition. This is Rylee’s fifth semester at Pikes Peak State College, where she is currently majoring in dance and has been a part of the High Altitude Dance Ensemble. While at PPCC, she has expanded her dance studies to include dance for camera, dance history, dance composition, methods of teaching, technical theater, and Feldenkrais. Rylee has just returned home from a one-year internship at Walt Disney World and hopes to return to Florida full-time, but she is excited to continue dancing and teaching in the Colorado Springs and Denver areas.
