Sarah Groh Correa
Sarah Groh Correa is happy to join the Colorado Ballet Society as the Advanced and Intermediate Tap Dance teacher. Sarah is an experienced tap dancer and tap teacher and holds a teaching certification in tap from the Chicago Rhythm Project. Ms Groh teaches a variety of tap styles: traditional, Broadway, and rhythm, in all of her classes so that students understand the history and ideas behind this American art form.
Sarah also is the visionary strategist and owner of Groh Music, a voice studio established in 2007. Through both voice and dance, artists can learn to reach goals, audition, relieve stress, and understand how these art forms informs their lives.
Sarah holds degrees in Voice Performance from the University of Kansas and a Master’s from Arizona State University, as well as a Master’s in Creative Leadership from Fuller Seminary. She grew up on a small farm in Kansas and has enjoyed living in Colorado Springs since 2005. Sarah loves reading, dancing, hiking and camping with her husband, Scott, who is an amazing rock climber and native of the Springs.
