Sophie Gorecki

Ballet & Conditioning

Sophie began dancing back home in Michigan when she was 3-years-old. Receiving training in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop, Sophie also joined a competitive team. This gave Sophie many unique performance opportunities including performing in America's Thanksgiving Day and in Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker. Following years of competition and various awards, Sophie continued her dance training at Hillsdale College. There, she took part in the Hillsdale College Cheer Team and Tower Dancers, Hillsdale's student dance company. Sophie completed a Minor in Dance with honors from the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. Hillsdale is also where Sophie began her teaching career. At a local studio, she cultivated a competition program, taking students around the state and showcasing her award-winning choreography. Now in Colorado Springs, Sophie has continued teaching and choreographing, sharing her love and passion for dance with her students!
