Ballet & Sparkle Dance
Stephanie was born and raised in Orange County, CA. She began dancing at age 4 and immediately fell in love with the art. Stephanie grew up competing across Southern California at various studios, festivals, and concerts. At age 13 she decided to take her ballet career seriously and joined a small ballet company in Los Angeles studying vaganova technique. Wanting a wider range of techniques she attended Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts through high school majoring in dance, was an apprentice with Akomi dance company based in Los Angeles, and continued to compete in festivals across the state. Stephanie has received several awards for her choreography and her dedication to dance within the Southern California arts community as well as the New Prague Dance Festival which she attended upon graduating high school to represent the United States. Post high school she attended Cornish College of the arts studying a wide variety of classical ballet and modern techniques then later attended Kansas State University to follow her passion for human anatomy and kinesiology. Stephanie moved to Colorado in 2018 with her husband, looking for a fresh start and a new adventure. Since moving to Colorado has had the pleasure of teaching a variety of techniques in the Denver/Lakewood area and is thrilled to share her passions with the Colorado Springs community.
