Stori Cline

Hip Hop

Stori is extremely thankful and excited to be joining the Colorado Ballet Society family this season! A native of Columbus, Georgia, Stori moved 12 hours away from friends and family to pursue her dream of dancing for the Dallas Cowboys. Not only was she a 3-year Veteran of the first NFL hip hop team, the Rhythm, and Blue Dancers, but she also earned a degree in Dance from Texas Woman's University. Stori began dancing at the age of 14 at a small studio in Alabama. Shortly after, she became a member of her high school's first-ever dance team, The Dancing Devils. Two years later, she was voted captain and led her team to win 2nd place at the Eastern Dance National Championship Competition. After graduation, she auditioned and became a lead dancer/dance captain for the State Theatre of Georgia, the Springer Opera House. Shortly after working there, she auditioned for the Lady Lions, a semi-pro dance team for the Indoor Football League, and quickly realized that performing at football games was what she wanted to pursue and soon after moved to Texas. After her last season with the Cowboys in 2012, Stori auditioned to be part of the first-ever hip hop team for the WNBA Dallas Wings and loved dancing on the basketball court.

She loves working with young people and watching them fall in love with movement. Her goal is to change the lives of adolescents, for they are our future.
