The Praise Dance Ensemble provides dancers with an opportunity to use their gifts as an act of worship while growing both artistically and spiritually. Dancers develop musicality, teamwork and discipline while learning to communicate messages of faith through movement. Under the Artistic Management of Katie Kurtz, the ensemble encourages dancers to build meaningful relationships, deepen their faith, and use dance to inspire and encourage their community.
Praise Dance Ensemble is open by application to anyone in Level Pearl through Level 8, who is registered in their level requirements.
First Semester applications are due Thursday, August 20, 2026.
Performance opportunities are required.
Weekly rehearsals on Fridays are mandatory and include Bible study and prayer time.
Praise Dance Ensemble is encouraged to attend a minimum of four weeks of summer and attend our Worship Workshop.
