CBS offers a complete and comprehensive training program for the pre-professional dancer with an emphasis on posture, development, coordination, dance quality and musicality

combined with technique within each dancer’s scope of development.

Pointe work begins at level 3a-4a at the recommendation of the teachers and with final approval of the director. Pointe work is preceded by 1-2 year Level 2b/3a Pre-Pointe syllabus.

The Pre-Professional season runs August 10th, 2026 – May 22nd, 2027, excluding scheduled closures.

We have open enrollment all year long. The enrollment deadline for performance participation is February 1st.

Pre Professional Division styles include Classical Ballet, Pre Pointe, & Pointe.

Pre Professional Division levels include Ballet Levels 1a-8.
