Kelsey, born and raised in Chicago, began dancing at the age of 3. Under the direction of Nick Pupillo she began her formal training at Visceral Dance Center as a part of their pre-professional program, Visceral Studio Company. She went on to receive her BFA in Dance from the University of Arizona and received additional training from Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet, Point Park University, Keigwin + Company and The Movement Invention Project summer programs.

She has apprenticed with River North Dance Chicago and danced throughout the US and internationally for Walt Disney World, Odyssey Dance Theatre and Justin Giles’ SoulEscape. Her most recent endeavor includes the National Tour of Dirty Dancing.

Kelsey has been signed with the Movement Talent Agency in LA as well as the Bankston Talent Agency in Austin, TX. Her film/commercial credits include: American Horror Story, Richard Linklater’s Apollo 10 1/2, Orange Theory Fitness, Dell, Audi, Jimmy Johns, HP, Whataburger, Leinenkugel, Spectrum Internet, HEB + more.

During Kelsey’s performance career she has had the absolute pleasure of teaching for Ballet Austin, Millenium Dance Complex, and The Institute of Contemporary Dance in Houston as well as local studios in Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and Austin. She is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique and also has her 200 Yoga Teacher Training Certification.

In Kelsey’s spare time she enjoys hiking, yoga and spending time with her husband and their dog, Rainey, as well as their extended family.  It is Kelsey’s goal to provide a safe, nurturing and energetic environment to all of her students and to cheer them on as they pursue their goals.
