Jackie Brouwer was born and raised in Colorado Springs and began her dance training at the age of 10. Under a variety of instructors, Jackie trained in many different styles/methods of ballet including Cecchetti, RAD, ABT, and Balanchine. At the age of 16, Jackie joined Ballet Society and had the privilege of studying under Patricia Hoffman until graduating from high school.

Jackie then joined Ballet Magnificat! in Jackson MS as a trainee for one year, events company in her second year, and then was promoted to an Omega company artist. During her time with Ballet Magnificat! Jackie performed all over the United States, Canada, Central America, South Africa, Russia, and Europe.

After retiring from dancing professionally, Jackie returned to Colorado Springs and earned her degree as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. In addition to caring for people’s physical health, Jackie enjoys giving back to the community teaching aspiring ballerinas.
