Originally from Spokane, Washington, Rosie Pedersen was classically trained in ballet by Brooke Nicholson. She also received training from the New Ballet School led by Dhalia Rawson, and The Portland Ballet led by Nancy Davis. Rosie completed her training as a trainee at Avant Chamber Ballet where she was fortunate enough to work with Jock Soto, Shawn Stevens, Michelle Gifford, and Katie Puder. She then danced as a company artist with Ballet Etude for two years.Rosie graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Dance Pedagogy from Brigham Young University - Idaho where she had the opportunity to perform and tour with Dance Alliance. While at school, she was able to choreograph for ACDA and on fellow peers. She hopes to keep choreographing in the future and shaping her artistic voice through dance.As an educator, Rosie brings a kinesiological approach to classes so proper technique, alignment and muscle engagement are clearly understood. Her main goal is to help students recognize their individual worth in the studio so they can carry that confidence into all aspects of their lives.

In the summer of 2026, Rosie attended the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Teacher Training, where she deepened her knowledge of ballet pedagogy. Her passion for dance education continues to nourish her desire to support and train well-rounded, technically strong dancers.
