Miriam has been dancing at Colorado Ballet Society since the age of five. Her early love for dance grew under the direction of CBS Director Emeritus Patricia Hoffman and current Artistic Director Kate Walsh. She loves participating in the Nutcracker and looks forward to it all year. Some of her favorite roles from over the years include the Fairy of Beauty, the Emerald Pas de Trois, a Little Swan, a Shepherdess, the Chinese Lead, and the Snow Queen. Miriam loves to embrace dance in new and unique ways, such as participating in outreach performances and the teacher assistant program. This year, she is particularly excited to contribute to the CBS community as a teacher. Her goal for the classroom is to facilitate a healthy and fun environment where students can gain true confidence and grow their love for dance through overcoming challenges and working diligently. She plans to keep dance in her life and hopes to dance professionally and eventually become a full-time teacher or performance psychologist.
